Roy G. Crawford

Mr. Roy G. Crawford, age 85 of Commerce died Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at his residence. Mr. Crawford was born in Homer to the late, Jim and Bessie Crawford. Mr. Crawford was a retired automobile body mechanic, US Army veteran, and a member of Madison Street Baptist Church.

Mr. Crawford is survived by his wife, Lila Butler Crawford of Commerce; daughter, Tina Gailey of Commerce; granddaughter, Shannon Ford of Commerce; brother, Harold Crawford of Commerce; sisters, Mary Bruce, Reba Wood, and Eva Ingram all of Commerce.

Funeral service will be held Friday at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Dr. Ray Richardson officiating with the interment following in Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday night from 6-8 PM.
