Robert Dean Singletary, age 51, passed away on July 14, 2014 from complications of a pulmonary embolism.
He was born August 9, 1962 to Earl and Erika Singletary. He lived in Dahlonega and Columbus, Georgia throughout his childhood and then moved to Phoenix, Arizona where he married and spent the past 34 years.
He is preceeded death by his mother, Erika. He is survived by his wife, Lesley Singletary, daughter Marissa Wilkinson, and son, Robert James Singletary, Phoenix, Arizona. He is also survived by his father, Earl Singletary, Dahlonega, Georgia; sisters and brothers-in law, Joe and Sudie Ann Peace, Loganville, Georgia; Paul and Melissa Carruth, Atlanta, Georgia; Jerry and Rebecca Leaphart, Kody and Robyn Ledbetter, Flowery Branch, Georgia; Ryan and Rachel George, Buford, Georgia; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service for Robert is scheduled for 3 PM, Sunday, July 19, 2014 at Dahlonega Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1 PM to 3 PM. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity in Robert's honor.
