Marcia Kinney Satterfield

Marcia Kinney Satterfield, age 72, of Gainesville passed away Monday, July 15, 2014 at her residence following an extended illness.

Funeral Services will be Thursday, July 17, 2014 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Randy Strickland, Reverend Greg Burgner and Reverend Michelle Rawdin will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 from 2 - 4 pm and 6 - 8 pm at the funeral home.

She was a member of Antioch United Methodist Church, and a longtime supporter of the Gainesville Aid Project. As a homemaker, she babysat several children through the years. Each child held a special place in her heart. Mrs. Satterfield was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Satterfield, Sr.; parents, B.H. and Carolyn Kinney; and son-in-law, Johnny Stevens.

She leaves behind son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Susan Satterfield; daughter and son-in-law, Rachel and Kenneth Adams; daughter and son-in-law, Rita and Brent Edge; daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and David West; brother and sister-in-law, John and Lucy Kinney; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, J. W. and Cheryl Satterfield. She was the loving Nanny of Ric Satterfield, Callie Stevens, Lindsay Satterfield, Mallory Edge, Bailey Adams, Cara Adams, Logan West, and Aly West.
