Martha L. Lenderman

Mrs. Martha L. Lenderman, age 93, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at New Horizon's Limestone.


Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Friday, July 18, 2014 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel with interment to follow in Alta Vista Cemetery. The Reverend Maxey Ladd will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday, July 17, 2014 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Lenderman was born October 25, 1920 in Murrayville, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Homer L. Lawson and Beulah (Truelove) Lawson. She was a member of Riverbend Baptist Church. She was retired from Dr. Kit Walker's office and also operated the Antique Nook for over 20 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Van Lenderman, Jr. and son, Ronnie Lenderman.

Mrs. Lenderman is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Stan and Elizabeth Lenderman of Savannah, GA; Mike and Karen Lenderman of Marietta, GA; daughter, Brenda Frasier of Gillsville, Georgia; grandchildren, Stephen Lenderman, Chris Lenderman, Michelle Jensen, Joelle Hughes, Lisa Pullen, Shane Frasier; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Peggy Abrahams of Clermont and Nita Lawson of Gainesville; sister-in-law, Susie Lenderman Fleming; special friends; Jean Crawley, Dr. C.J. "Kit" Walker and his wife Carol; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
