Scott Douglas Casper

Scott Douglas Casper, age 51 of Talmo, Georgia, passed away Friday, July 11, 2014 at his residence following a sudden illness.


Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Dr. Michael Reynolds officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 from 6:00-9:00pm and Wednesday, July 16, 2014 from 10:00am-1:00pm at the funeral home both days.


Mr. Casper was born May 7, 1963 in Buford, Georgia to Henry David Casper and the late Linda Lucille King Casper. He served in the United States Army and was a member of Blackshear Place Baptist Church.


Scott enjoyed working outdoors: where he loved working in his yard and keeping it manicured. Scott's greatest thrill was spending every minute that he could with his granddaughters, Akari and Ivy Casper of Oakwood.

Mr. Casper is survived by his wife of 32 years, Lisa Cantrell Casper of Talmo; son, David Aric Casper and wife Elizabeth Marie Casper of Talmo; son, Christopher James Casper and wife Emily Casper of Oakwood; father and his wife, David and Dorine Casper of Oakwood; brother, Pat Casper and his wife Kathy of Oakwood; brother, Jeff Casper of Oakwood; sister, Dedra Cantrell of Flowery Branch; James and Joyce Cantrell, brother and sister-in-law of Gainesville and also numerous nieces and nephews.
