Martha Jones Coffee

A service of death and resurrection will be celebrated for Martha Jones Coffee, age 88 of Oakwood on Wednesday July 16 at 2:00 p.m. at Antioch United Methodist Church. The Rev. Mike Roper will officiate. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Coffee passed away Saturday July 12, 2014.
Mrs. Coffee was born in Hall County to the late Charles Jones and Estelle Allison Jones. She graduated from Young Harris College and the University of Georgia. She taught at Tadmore Elementary and Lyman Hall and was Assistant Director of Hall County Reading Program. She was a member of Georgia Retired Teachers Association. She was a member of Antioch United Methodist Church where she was an active member of the choir and held many offices in the church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Jimmy Harold Coffee.
