Eunice Vernell (Smith) Kenimer

Mrs. Eunice Vernell (Smith) Kenimer, age 80, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away Monday, July 7, 2014 at Autumn Breeze.


Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 pm Thursday, July 10, 2014 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel. Dr. Tom Smiley and Reverend Drewery Loggins will officiate. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 pm and 6 to 8 pm Wednesday July 9, 2014 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Kenimer was a native of Lula, Georgia, born June 7, 1934 the daughter of the late Enos Smith and Alice (Lewallen) Smith. She was a member of Belton Baptist Church. She was a proud Marine Corp wife for 22 years. She owned and operated Jake's Cafeteria in Gainesville with her husband the late Jake Kenimer. She is also preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Junior Smith.

Mrs. Kenimer is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah Ann and Benny Faulkner of Murrayville; son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Martha Sue Kenimer of Gainesville; daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Stanley Mize of Gainesville; grandchildren; Veronnica Hayes, Ben Faulkner, Lauren Smiley and Cody Mize; great-grandchildren, John Hayes, Katie Hayes, Kenneth Faulkner, Hunter Faulkner, Gracie Hayes, Sawyer Smiley Parker Mize and Alice Smiley; sister, Lenora Manly; sister and brother-in-law, Rochelle and Jimmy Forrester; sister, Jenny Wiley; brother and sister-in-law, Buddy and Hilda Smith all of Lula; sister and brother-in-law, Martha Ann and Jimmy Wilson of Flowery Branch; sister-in-law, Mary Smith of Winder and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends also survive.
