Richard Eugene Grindle

Richard Eugene Grindle, age 61 of Lula, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2014 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.


Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 2:00 pm at East View Baptist Church with interment to follow in Whitehall Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend Grady White and Reverend David Gravitt will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 from 6 - 9 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Grindle was born September 10, 1952 in Gainesville, Georgia to M. L. Grindle and Lois Wade Grindle. He retired from Department of Transportation with Banks County and was a member of East View Baptist Church. Richard was very special to The Wingsmen Motorcycle Club. He was preceded in death by his father, M. L. Grindle, his wife, Cheryl Elaine Wilson Grindle and one of his brother, Steven Grindle.

Mr. Grindle is survived by his mother, Lois Wade Grindle of Lula, sister & brother-in-law, Jeanette & Julian Cantrell of Lula and his brother & sister-in-law, Alan & Judy Grindle of Gainesville.
