Grady Dover

Grady Dover, age 83, of Buford, GA passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2014. He was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-four years, Allene Turner Dover. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Penny and Lary Free, Sugar Hill, GA; grandchild, Casey and Chelsea Free, Buford, GA; sister, Dot Pilcher, Dawsonville, GA; brother-in-law, Vestal Mewborn, Sugar Hill, GA; numerous sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law of late Jim Turner family; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Dover was born March 7, 1931 in Georgia. He was a retired barber having worked in the Buford area for many years. He also worked many years at Scientific Atlanta. He was a member of Concord Baptist Church in Silver City, GA. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Chaplain Lee A. Almy, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Concord Baptist Church Cemetery, Silver City, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
