Jack Fulton Bryant, Sr

Jack Fulton Bryant, Sr., age 86 of Cleveland, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2014 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.


Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at 11:00 am at Dewberry Baptist Church #2 with interment to follow in the Church Cemetery. Reverend Robert Nix, Reverend Larry Forrester, Reverend Roy Lee Mitchell and Reverend Darin Cain will officiate. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 from 2 - 4 pm and 6 - 8 pm at the Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel, 989 Riverside Drive, Gainesville, GA 30501.

Mr. Bryant was born August 16, 1927 in Johnson City, Tennessee to the late Lacy Bryant and Viola Mae Prevett Bryant. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was retired from Flavor Rich Dairy with 48 years of service. Jack was an active and dedicated member of Dewberry Baptist Church #2 on Cleveland Highway. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Phil Bryant and his brother, Edward Bryant.

Mr. Bryant is survived by his wife, Ruby Kanaday Bryant of Cleveland, son and daughter in law, Jack "Buddy" and Lynne Bryant of Little River, South Carolina, daughter, Camille Jones of Tucson, Arizona, sister-in-law, Irene Bryant of Johnson City, Tennessee, Grandson and wife, Bryan and Perla Jones of Tucson, Arizona, Granddaughter and Husband Shontelle and Don Moore of Boca Raton, Florida, Cody Bryant of Little River, South Carolina, Granddaughter and Husband Alexis and Billy Rollins of Little River, South Carolina, Jeremiah Bryant of California and Laya Bryant of Atlanta, great-grandchildren, Storm and Jasmine Jones of Tucson, Arizona and Mika and Donovan Moore of Boca Raton, Florida and nieces, Debbie and Diane of Johnson City, Tennessee.
