Dayton Wiley, age 82, of Cornelia, Georgia, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2014.




Mr. Wiley was born on February 2, 1932 in Hall County, Georgia; son of the late Albern Elijah and Mae Bell Woodall Wiley. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Marion Edwin Wiley and Lewis Eugene Wiley.




Survivors include his wife, Bertha Lovell Wiley, Cornelia; sisters, Euna Lou Wade, Alto, Henrietta King, Alto, Kathleen Sexton, Flowery Branch, Mae Bell Lovell, Alto; brothers, George Wiley, North Hall County, Royce Wiley, Hall County, Elijah Minor Wiley, Alto.




Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia with Rev. Connie Berry and Rev. Roy Rogers officiating. Interment will follow in Victory Baptist Church Cemetery.




The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2014.
