Lynn Ann Herman, age 50, of Oakwood, GA passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2014. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Ira Herman, Oakwood, GA; children, Joseph Herman, Buford, GA, Paul Herman, Buford, GA and Amber Herman, Alpharetta, GA; one grandchild, Ashton Herman; father, Gary Cassidy, Cumming, GA; step father, Ed Newkirk, Cumming, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Lisa and Dennis Byers, Cumming, GA and Beth Newkirk, Cumming, GA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Herman was born October 1, 1962 in Akron, OH. She was a graduate of North High School in Akron, OH. She was a homemaker and was of the Catholic Faith. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday afternoon from 3:00 p.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Vincent De Paul Society, 6439 Spout Springs Road, Flowery Branch, GA 30542 in memory of Lynn Herman.
