Elmer P. Peck

Elmer P. Peck, age 86, of Gainesville passed away on July 3, 2014 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a brief illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, July 6, 2014 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park with internment to follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Stacy Phillips and Reverend Billy Emmett will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 5, 2014 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Peck was born on June 3, 1928 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late David Paul Peck and Bessie Elizabeth Bowen Peck. He was retired from Con- Agra and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Elmer was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Annie Laura Dale Peck, his sister, Eva Peck and two of his brothers, Norman Peck and Donald Peck.

Mr. Peck is survived by his daughter & son-in-law, Connie & Allen Turner of Gainesville, daughter, Kathy Peck of Gainesville, granddaughter & husband, Lori & Chad Cobb of Gainesville, granddaughter, Amanda Turner of Gainesville, great-grandchildren, Emily Cobb of Gainesville, Haley Cobb of Gainesville and Camron Cobb of Hartwell, Georgia, sister & brother-in-law, Leeoma Evans of Blairsville, sister, Bertha Sanford of Dahlonega, brothers & sisters-in-law, John Henry Peck of Flowery Branch and Roger & Linda Peck of Athens, brother, Harold Peck of Dahlonega and a number of nieces and nephews.
