Odath Samples

Odath Samples, age 82, of Cumming, passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2014. He was a long time member of Daves Creek Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Milford and Ada Samples and a brother, Norman Samples.



He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Joyce Samples of Cumming; son and daughter in law, Doug and Brenda Samples of Cumming; brother and sister in law, Emmett and Willie Grace Samples of Cumming and Christine Samples of Cumming; brother in law and sister in law, Royce and Sarah Ann Cash of Cumming and Judy Bennett of Cumming; grandchildren, Blake and Angela Samples of Cumming and Megan and Jeremy Kirk of Cumming; great grandchild, Rachel.



Funeral Service for Mr. Samples will be on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home. Rev Carrel Pruitt, Rev. Casey Martin and Rev. Blake Samples officiating. Interment to follow at Daves Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.



The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Thursday, from 4:00 until 9:00 P.M. and Saturday, from 9:00 A.M. until the hour of service.
