John Carl Skywark

John Carl Skywark, age 57, of Gainesville, passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.


Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, July 5, 2014 at 4:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Christian Baptist Church Cemetery, Gainesville. Reverend Kenneth Pilcher will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 3, 2014 and Friday, July 4, 2014 from 7 - 9 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Skywark was born December 18, 1956 in Bethesda, Maryland to the late Carl John Skywark and Billie Mae Cade Skywark. He was disabled and was of the Methodist Faith.

Mr. Skywark is survived by his wife, Judy Skywark of Gainesville, daughter, Jessica Elizabeth Skywark of Cumming, granddaughter, Hattie Skywark of Cumming, sister, Jenifer Skywark of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, brothers, Robert Skywark of Dunlap, Tennessee and Tom Skywark of St. Simmons, Georgia, step-sons, Christopher Evans of Gainesville, Keith Evans of Suwanee and Clifford Evans of Gainesville and 6 step-grandchildren.
