Erlene Johnson

Erlene Johnson, 78, of Cumming, GA passed away Tuesday June 24, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents Jim and Ethel Jones, her brothers TJ, Granville (Bud), Grover (Billy), and Donald Jones all of Alabama.

Erlene was a homemaker who loved to cook. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She is survived by her loving husband, Bruce Johnson of Cumming, GA; her daughter, Linda ( Marvin) Dinsmore of Dawsonville, GA; her son, Thomas ( Karen ) Johnson of Dawsonville, GA; her three grandchildren, Jennifer (Andrew) Grindle, Steven Johnson, and Cody Dinsmore all of Dawsonville, GA; her sister-in-law, Diane (Gary) Yost of Wyoming, NY, brother-in-law, David Johnson of Avon, NY and brother-in-law Duane (Christine) Johnson of Nelson, GA; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services will be held in the chapel of McDonald & Son Funeral Home, at 4:00 pm on Saturday June 28, 2014. Brother Jerry McCormick will officiate. Visitation will be Saturday prior to the service from 1:00pm until time of service.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests donations to the Homestead Hospice where Erlene was taken care of prior to her death. Homestead Hospice, 10888 Crabapple Road, Roswell, GA 30075.
