Willa Mae Caldwell Stark

Willa Mae Caldwell Stark, age 88 of Gainesville, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at her residence.


Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, June 27, 2014 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Reverend James Kanaday officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 26, 2014 from 5:00-8:00pm at the funeral home.


Mrs. Stark was born August 26, 1925 in Blairsville, Georgia to the late William and Bessie Cochran Caldwell. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Joe Stark.


Mrs. Stark is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Wauriga and Sandy Helton of Dallas, GA; sister, Florence Dean of Griffin, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Sam and Dottie Caldwell of Chillhowee, VA; sister, Earlene Phillips of Gainesville; two special nieces, Patsy Harris and Julie Adkins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Tabernacle Church, 4020 Ledan Road Extension, Gainesville, GA 30506
