David Lindsey

Mr. David Lindsey, age 85, of Jasper, GA passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2014.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Connie Hernandez; and son, David Lee Lindsey. He is survived by his wife of sixty-eight years, Dorothy Dottie Lindsey, Jasper, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Randall G. and Rhonda A. Lindsey, Marble Hill, GA and Ricky E. and Brenda Lindsey, Monroe, GA; eleven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; sister, Marjorie White Lindsey, Lawrenceville, GA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Lindsey was born March 29, 1929 in Springfield, OH.

He resided in Gwinnett County, GA for forty-one years before moving to Jasper, GA. He was a retired salesman with Electrolux Corporation with over thirty years of service. He was a member of the Boy Scouts. He was a former member and founder of the Stone Mountain Church of God in Stone Mountain, GA and was a member of Jasper Church of God in Jasper, GA. He was a guitarist.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. David Browder officiating. Interment will follow at Sugar Hill Cemetery in Sugar Hill, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
