Mrs. Winnie Ruth Chastain age 80 of Pendergrass passed away on June 21, 2014 following an extended illness.
Funeral services are scheduled for Monday June 23, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday June 23, 2014 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. after the funeral service.
Mrs. Chastain was born on October 18, 1933 in Del Rio, Tennessee to the late Carl F. Bible and Nellie Shetley Bible. She was a greeter at Walmart for 13 years, after retiring from Beaulieu Carpet, and was of the Baptist Faith. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Willard Fred Chastain, and her brother, Carl Bible.
Mrs. Chastain is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Amy and James R. Stewart of Gainesville, son, Leslie Chastain of Pendergrass, son, David Chastain of Pendergrass, grandchildren, Stephen and Hillary Morgan of Gainesville, and Will and Amber Stewart of Gainesville, and 4 great grandchildren.
