James Barry Marlow, 53, of Gainesville passed away Saturday June 21, 2014 at Embracing Hospice following a extended illness.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday June 24, 2014 at 4:00pm at Temple Baptist Church with the Rev. Ronnie Shiflett, Rev. Junior Jones, Rev. James Ransom, Rev. Zack Watson officiating.
Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends 4-9 Sunday and all day Monday.
Mr. Marlow was born February 23, 1961 in Gainesville to Ralph C. and Carolyn Stephens Marlow.
He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Marlow was preceded in death by his father, Maternal and Paternal grandparents, a very special great grandfather James Warren Stephens, and a very special great aunt Alma Stephens.
Mr. Marlow is survived by his mother Carolyn Marlow of Gainesville, sister and brother-in-law Beverly and James Summersett of Gainesville, brother and sister-in-law Ricky and Lisa Marlow of Gainesville, special nephew and wife Shane and Brandi Grindle of Gainesville, special niece Ashley Marlow of Gainesville, aunts Rena Marlow, Beverly Millwood, Marie Smith and Irene Adams all of Gainesville.
