Annie Roselle Randle Smith, age 87, of Sugar Hill, GA passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty years, Lloyd O. Smith; son, Benson D. "Benny" Smith; and grandson, Adam Blake Smith. She is survived by her children, James L. Smith, Camdenton, MO; Michael and Jan Smith, Buford, GA, Randle and Barbara Smith, Powder Springs, GA and Allison and Michael Bryant, Buford, GA; grandchildren, Ty and Misty Smith and Christie Sharp, Bolivar, MO, Cory and Deanna Smith, Sugar Hill, GA, Chandler Smith, Buford, GA, Deana and Lance Burson and April and Jason Neu, Sugar Hill, GA; great grandchildren, Mya and Ella Smith and Baylee Sharp, Bolivar, MO, Mackinley Warren, Taylor Beaver, Isabella Ambrosino, Lyla Burson and Carly Goldsmith, Sugar Hill, GA; daughter-in-law, Teresa Smith, Sugar Hill, GA; sister, Geraldine Liles, Raleigh, NC; sisters-in-law, Lola Grace Smith and Alma Meuter, Sugar Hill, GA. Mrs. Smith was born October 18, 1926 in Covington, GA to Horace and Mary Randle. She had three siblings, two who have predeceased her, Evelyn Randle Dorsett and John Robert Randle. She was a 1945 graduate of Gilmer County High School in a class of 45. She retired from Fireman's Fund Insurance Company in 1983 after twenty-six years of service. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, June 20, 2014 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sugar Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until time of service.
