Kenneth Alexander Smith

Mr. Kenneth Alexander Smith, age 64 of 58 Pinetree Road, Toccoa, Georgia passed away Saturday, June 14, 2014 at Charlie Norwood VA Hospital in Augusta, Georgia.

A son of the late Clarence Watson and Pearl Jewell Allen Smith, he was born January 14, 1950 in Habersham County, Georgia having lived most of his life in Stephens County. He was a Vietnam War U.S. Army Veteran, employed with the Steel and Warehouse Industry, a member of the V.F.W. Post 4346 and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife of the home, Reba Coleman Smith; daughter and son-in-law, Celena and Adam Brown of Martin, Georgia; son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Martina Smith, Europe; granddaughter, Kayla Brown; brother, Watson Smith of Toccoa, Georgia; sisters, Geraldine Simpson, Joyce Bowden, Hazel Merck and Ann Parker all of Toccoa, Georgia, Crystal RaFool of Florida and Judy Gregg of Greenville, South Carolina.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 18, 2 O'clock PM in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Reverend Sammy Cutshall officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Mark Lowery, Robert Hamby, Danny Gibby, Scottie Royals, Shane Barrett and Dave Brown.

The family will be at the home on Pinetree Road and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6 PM to 8 PM.

Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to Fisher House Foundation, 111 Rockville Pike, Suite 420, Rockville, Maryland 20850 or the charity of one's choice in memory of Mr. Kenneth Alexander Smith.

Interment will follow in Stephens Memorial Gardens with Military Honors by the Georgia National Guard Honor Guard and the V.F.W. Post 4346.
