Nellie Ann Simpson, age 71, of Auburn passed away Thursday, June 12, 2014. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Auburn First Baptist Church. Pastor Chris Parkins will be officiating. Mrs. Simpson is preceded in death by her husband the late Herbert Simpson; her parents Harold and Francis McDowell. She was survived by her son Martin "Marty" Simpson and wife Stacey of Auburn; brother Mick McDowell and wife Lorna of Braselton; sister Connie Shaffer of Ohio; 2 granddaughters Jamie and Kami; 2 grandsons Robert and Randy.
