A.P. Poe

Mr. A.P. Poe, age 89, of Commerce, GA died Saturday, June 14, 2014 at Northridge Medical Center. Mr. Poe was born in Brockton to the late Paul and Ethel Glenn Poe. He attended New Hope Baptist Church and was retired from Gold Kist.

Mr. Poe is survived by his wife, Lois Mae Wilbanks Poe of Commerce; daughter, Ann Palmer of Commerce; brother, Lanier Poe of Nicholson; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Monday, June 16 at New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Stowers officiating. Interment will follow in Nicholson Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday night from 5 to 8 PM.
