Memorial Services for Donald Lee Solesbee age 77, of Gainesville will be held Saturday June 14, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in Strickland Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Lowell Whitmire will officiate. Mr. Solesbee died Wednesday June 11, 2014. Visitation will be Saturday June 14, from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Mr. Solesbee graduated from Riverbend High School in 1955 and served in the United States Army. He is survived by his daughter, Beth Solesbee, sister and brother in-law Shirley and Tommy Pitchford of Gainesville; sister and brother in-law, Polly and Art Gunter of Fort Payne, Alabama; brother and sister in-law Johnny and Susie Solesbee, two nephews; Tim Merck and David Solesbee, three nieces; Sundi Dyer, Lorie Whitmire, and Jennifer James.
