Fred Henry Turner Sr., age 75, of Sugar Hill, GA, a loving and devoted husband, father and papaw, a life time member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and retired from Cadillac Products of Dallas, GA, passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2014. He was preceded in death by parents, Mary Ann Lunsford and William Avery Turner; brothers, James Harold Turner and Milton David Turner; and son, Fred (Freddy) Henry Turner, Jr. He is survived by wife of fifty-six years Nancy (Penny) Payne Turner of Sugar Hill; sons, William (Bill) Arnold and Lynne Rainey Turner of Suwanee, Edward Harold Turner and Marie Simmons of Sugar Hill, and Tony Eugene Turner of Loganville; grandchildren Brandon Scott Turner of Suwanee, William (Will) Avery and Paige Banham Turner of Dacula, Mary Elizabeth Turner of Arvada, CO, and Krysti Lynn Turner; great granddaughters, Venus Jade LaParr of Athens and Lauren Ashley Turner of Loganville; sister-in-law, Sue Butler Turner of Dacula; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 13, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Cramer and Rev. Lamar Murphy officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Lawrenceville, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 11, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and no visitation is scheduled on Thursday.
