Betty Lou Peeples Dale

Betty Lou Peeples Dale, age 82, of Clermont, Georgia passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2014, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, June 9, 2014 at 11:00am in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The Dr. Terry Crawford and Rev. Mark Russell will officiate. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 8, 2014, from 2-4p.m. and 5-8p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Dale was born May 11, 1932, in Hall County, Georgia, to the late Joseph Aldine Peeples and Ada Jane Stowe Peeples. She was retired from Sear's Department Store and was an active member of New Holland Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Baptista Winsome Sunday School Class. Betty Lou was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers; Curtis Peeples, Reverend Wilburn Peeples, Sid Peeples, and her sisters Nelline Peeples Ross and Marie Peeples.

Mrs. Dale is survived by her husband of 64 years, E.W. (Bill) Dale; two daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Ricky Davis of Flowery Branch, Ga, and Susan and Scotty Abercrombie of Lula,Ga; daughter, Lauri Dale of Clermont, Ga., and son and daughter-in-law, Jody and Sabrina Dale of Clermont, Ga.; grandchildren, Amanda Davis Henson, Cale Abercrombie, Conley Dale, and Kristen Dale; great-grandchildren, Davis Henson, Marleigh Henson, and Max Henson, and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff and Hospice of North Georgia Medical Center, Inc., and also the attending Doctors and their Staffs for their care and kindness.
