Barbara L. "Lulu" Fawcett

Barbara L. "Lulu" Fawcett, 55, of Forsyth County passed away Saturday May 31, 2014 at her residence following an extended illness.

Mrs. Fawcett was born June 18, 1958 in Reed, Maryland to the late William and Mae Bates. She had been a resident of Forsyth County for the past 30 years coming from Gainesville. A homemaker, Mrs. Fawcett was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.

Surviving are her husband, Al Fawcett, Gainesville; children, Arlie, Jr. and Breigh Fawcett, Cumming, Jason and Cindy Fawcett, Dawsonville, Kimberly and Graylin Johnston, Dawsonville; nine sisters and brothers; nine grandchildren, Mariah, Matthew, McKenzie, Katlyn, Aliyah, Lukas, Preston, Richie, Hunter; a number of other relatives.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday June 4, 2014 at 3 o'clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends from 2 o'clock until the service hour.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to help offset final expenses.
