Juanita Davis

Mrs. Juanita Davis, age 87, of Buford, GA passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Davis, Jr. She is survived by her children, Melanie Viola and special friend Bill McDaniel, Buford, GA, Edwin Davis, Atlanta, GA and Raymond and Judy Davis, Marietta, GA; grandchildren, Pamela Smith, Venita Killian, Stephen Smith, Sara Davis Hollar, Alex Davis and Morgan Davis; seven great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Davis was born July 16, 1926 in Atlanta, GA. She was a homemaker and member of the Red Hat Society. She was a former member of Hemphill Baptist Church of Atlanta and a current member of Friendship Baptist Church of Buford.

Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 1, 2014 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Pirkle officiating. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park, Sandy Springs, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, May 31, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service.
