Melba Lynn Case, 66, of Dawsonville passed away Tuesday May 27, 2014 at her residence following a sudden illness.
Born December 26, 1947 in Hall County to the late Lawrence E., Sr. and Nadine Lynn, she had lived in Dawson County for the past 15 years. Melba was formerly employed by Digital Interiors for several years prior to her retirement and lived a number of years in South Carolina where she was employed by the Department of Social Services. She was very devoted to her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She was a member of Northside Park Baptist Church.
Surviving are her children, Mike McKellar, Dawsonville, Dixie and Ray Gossett, Jr., Clinton, SC; grandson, Trey Gossett; sister, Lois Lynn, Dawsonville; brother and sister in law, Eddie and Lynn Lynn, Dawsonville; niece, Courtney Lynn, Dawsonville; a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
Graveside services will be held Thursday May 29, 2014 at 2 o'clock at Moss Memorial Gardens. Mr. Mike Henson and Mr. Wayne Garrett will officiate.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 until 9 at the funeral home.
