Franklin E. Thomas

Franklin E. Thomas, 54, of Flowery Branch, GA. passed away on May 24, 2012 following an extended illness.

Born September 17, 1959, Mr. Thomas was a lifelong resident of Hall County. He spent many years as a painter and marine mechanic by trade. He loved to fish, but most of all he loved his family. Mr. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Furman and Betty Thomas, and his younger brother Kenneth Thomas, as well as many other friends and loved ones.


Survivors include his sisters and brothers-in-law Evelyn & Eddie Wehunt of Flowery Branch, GA and Dolores & John Wiley of Cumming, GA.; His brother Michael Thomas of Flowery Branch, GA.; Nieces & nephews, Sandy (Dave) Graham, Sharon Ferguson, Becky (Darren) Edenfield, Gary Samples, and Amy Phillips. He also leaves behind a host of very important great nieces & nephews, whom he loved very deeply.


Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2014 from 4:00-6:00pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial park Road, Gainesville, GA 30504, with Memorial Service to follow directly at 6:00. Casual attire is suggested.
