Donna Ann Banks Payton

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Donna Ann Banks Payton, age 54, of Jefferson, who passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2014.

Mrs. Payton was born in Jefferson, Georgia a daughter of the Lathan Banks and Mrs. Clara Sikes Banks of Jefferson, Georgia. Mrs. Payton retired from Baker and Taylor in Commerce, Georgia as a book stamper with over 20 years of service. Mrs. Payton was a long time member of White Plains Baptist Church.

In addition to her father, Mrs. Payton was preceded in death by her sister Carol Ivester

Survivors include her husband, Randy Eugene Payton, Jefferson, Georgia, daughter, Jessica S. Payton, Jefferson, Georgia, sons, Lathan Travis Payton, Camp LeJune, North Carolina, Wes R. Payton, Winder, Georgia, sister, Lynda Bruce, Jefferson, Georgia, brothers, Larry Banks, Jefferson, Georgia, James Banks, Pendergrass, Georgia, grandchild, Dominic Alexander Payton and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Thursday May 29, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Reverend Cary Pittman and Reverend Kevin Page officiating.

Interment will follow in White Plains Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday May 28, 2014 at Evans Funeral Home from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M.
