Sandra Lee Brust

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Sandra Lee Brust, 51, of Jefferson, Georgia, who passed away Saturday, May 24, 2014.

Mrs. Brust was born in Riverside, New Jersey, a daughter of Mr. John Noga, Flowery Branch, Georgia and the late Caroline Noga. Mrs. Brust graduated from Mercer University with a Bachelor of Science Degree. Mrs. Brust was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Jefferson where she was a founding member of the Book Bag Ministry and a member of the United Methodist Women where she served as treasurer for more than eight years.

Survivors include her husband, Philip D. Brust, Jefferson, Georgia, sons, John Karl Brust, Philip Daniel Brust, daughter, Alexandra Louise Brust all of Jefferson, Georgia, step sons, David (Christine) Brust, Canton, Georgia, and Kurt (Nancy) Brust, Cranford, New Jersey, sisters, Diane Thibodeaux, Panama City Beach, Florida, Linda Noga-Nelson, Brunswick, Georgia, Karen Hardy, Ball Ground, Georgia, Stephanie McGraw, Irvine, California, and Christine Jeibmann, Milwaukie, Oregon, and grandchildren, Philip Brust, Nicholas Brust, and Lauren Brust, and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday May 30, 2014 at First United Methodist Church of Jefferson at 2:00 PM with Rev. Bob Reynolds officiating. A reception will follow the service in the First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall where the family will receive friends.

The family requests that flowers be omitted and donations be made to the Book Bag Ministry in Care of First United Methodist Church of Jefferson, 188 Martin Street, Jefferson, Georgia 30549.
