Richard J. Breese

​Mr. Richard J. Breese, 67 of Oakwood passed away Friday May 23, 2014 at his residence.

Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Breese, Oakwood; brother and sister in law, Doug and Barb Breese of Glen Rock, PA; brother, George R. Sweet of Easley SC; son and daughter in law, Matt and Jenifer Breese of Jefferson, GA; daughter, Lynn Lawson of Braselton; step son and wife, Russell and Christina Reed of Gainesville; grandchildren, Will Breese, Alex and John Lamon, Taylor Lawson, Elizabeth Reed, Olivia Reed, Rose Reed; and great granddaughter, Zandria Jayde.

Mr. Breese is preceded in death by his parents, Claude C. Breese and Julia Sweet.

Mr. Breese loved trains, and was a member of Cherokee Gun Club.

A memorial service to celebrates Richards life will be held Tuesday, May 27th at 3:00p.m. in the Little & Davenport Funeral Home Chapel. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home.
