Corey Patrick Phagan

Corey Patrick Phagan, age 25 of Maysville, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2014 at his residence.
Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, May 25, 2014 at 2:30pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Reverend Swayne Carlan officiating. Interment will follow in Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 24, 2014 from 6:00-9:00pm and Sunday, May 25, 2014 from 12:00-2:00pm
Mr. Phagan was born June 6, 1988 in Athens, Georgia to Keith and Bonnie Phagan. He was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church. Mr. Phagan was preceded in death by his sister, Courtney Phagan; his grandfathers, Willis Hoke Leach and Ray A. Phagan.
Mr. Phagan enjoyed deer hunting, fishing and turkey hunting with his father; he had more friends than his yard would hold at his house. He loved both his sisters, Kayla and Courtney with all his heart; enjoyed working in the yard with his mama Bonnie; loved driving tractors and riding 4 wheelers. He followed the tradition of eating out once a week every week with his mama and daddy; would ride jet skis with his sister Kayla even in the winter time; he was a mama's boy and had adopted his granny and grandpa, Sally and Richard.
Mr. Phagan is survived by his parents, Keith and Bonnie Phagan of Maysville; sister, Kayla Mae Phagan of Maysville; grandmother, Etta Jane Leach of Commerce; grandparents, Sally and Richard Miller of Lula; grandmother, Margie Phagan; uncles, Jeff Phagan of Cleveland and Chris Phagan of Commerce; aunt, Susan Pruitt of Maysville; aunts, Lorna Lester of Commerce; Teresa Cullinan of Winder; Tracy Ramirez of Jefferson; Tanya Barrett of Danielsville; cousins, Shannon Phagan of Cleveland; Christa Phagan of Commerce; Chelsea Pruitt of Maysville; Michelle Wood of Commerce; Scott Lester of Pendergrass; Drake, Ben and Sarah Cullinan of Winder; M.J. Leftwich and Anna Ramirez of Jefferson and Lyla Barrett of Danielsville.
