Mildred Ann Evans

Mrs. Mildred Ann Evans age 71 of Gainesville passed away on Thursday May 22, 2014 at her daughter's residence following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday May 24, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Airline Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend Bradley Elliott and Reverend Doyal Conley will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday May 23, 2014 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Evans was born on May 14, 1943 in Dahlonega, GA to the late Paul Peck and Lorene Hicks Peck. She was a member of Airline Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her parents, son, James Evans, son, Don R. Evans, sister, Shirley Peck and Velma Barrett, brothers, Phillip, Kenneth, Ricky, and Tommy Peck.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Ensley Evans of Gainesville, daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and David King of Eastanollee, son, Tommy Joe Evans of Gainesville, 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, brothers, Tim Peck and Melvin Peck.
