Dewey Rider

Mr. Dewey Rider, age 90, of Dahlonega, GA died Wednesday, May 21, 2014.

Dewey Rider was a local business man, a devoted husband, a loving father. Dewey started a milk business back in 1960 where he delivered milk door-to-door and to local stores for years. Later he and his daughter Maxine ran a tire company just off the square in Dahlonega. In his retired years, he enjoyed the simple quiet life of family and friends, spending time with his lifelong friend Howard Wilkins, and his loving wife of almost 70 years, Pauline Rider. As his health declined he devoted his time to his children and grandchildren. The world's greatest father, husband and grandfather
