William John Eggers

Mr. William John Eggers, age 90, of Buford, GA passed away on Monday, May 19, 2014.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Margaret Eggers; children, Catherine Eggers Palmier and husband Jim, Navarre, FL, Paula and Jody Fino, Mount Dora, FL and William Scott Eggers, Buford, GA; four grandchildren, Megan Palmier, Andrew Palmier, Emily Palmier and William Cook.

Mr. Eggers was born April 1, 1924 in Brooklyn, NY. He worked for Eastman Kodak and was a World War II veteran of the United States Navy.

A memorial mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Monday, June 2, 2014, at the Catholic Church of St. Monica, 1700 Buford Highway, Duluth, GA with Father Jack Durkin officiating.

Interment will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA.
