Roger Dale Blackburn

Roger Dale Blackburn age 61 of Cleveland passed away Monday May 12, 2014.

Mr. Blackburn was born in White County on August 24, 1952. He was preceded in death by his father, Loy Sutton and mother in law and father in law, Minnie and Charles Sims. Mr. Blackburn was a member of Town Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Cathy Blackburn, Cleveland; son and daughter in law, Josh and Dana Blackburn, Cleveland; mother, Eunice Sutton, Cleveland; grandchildren, Haley Blackburn, Zackery Blackburn, both of Cleveland; brothers, Neal Sutton, Cleveland, Richard Sutton, Wilton Manors, FL.; sister, Shirley Blackburn, Cleveland; sister and brother in law, Joyce and F.M. Satterfield, Dahlonega; nieces and nephews, Shannon Sutton, Shawna Sutton, Kim Nix, Chris Hulsey, Cindy Border; 6 great nieces and nephews; 5 great great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday May 16, 2014 at Town Creek Baptist Church. The Rev. Phillip Robinson and the Rev. Casey Robinson will officiate. Interment will be in the Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
