Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Ricky D. Pruitt, age 53, of Jefferson, who passed away on Monday, May 12, 2014. Mr. Pruitt was born in Winder, GA, a son to Mrs. Linda Faulkner Gregory and the late George Henry Pruitt. Mr. Pruitt was self-employed as a Carpenter and Mechanic. In addition to his father, Ricky was preceded in death by his grandparents, Perry Faulkner, Ina Mae McDonald, Bertie Lee Pruitt and Clarence Pruitt.
Survivors include his Mother, Linda Faulkner Gregory, brothers, Tony Pruitt, Tommy (Lisa) Pruitt all of Pendergrass, nieces Melinda and Jennifer Pruitt, great nephew, Taylor Lee Pruitt-White, aunt, Mary Meadow, step-brother, Robert (Brandy) Gregory, step-nieces, Kaitlyn Gregory and Chelsea Moore, and great-nephews, Johnathan and Silas Gregory also survive.
The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at 5:00PM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Reverend Kevin Page officiating. The visitation will be held on Thursday from 10-5pm at the funeral home.
