Clora Vester Bell Harris

Clora Vester Bell Harris, age 73 of Decatur, passed away on Monday, May 12, 2014 at Mesun Hospice following an extended illness.


Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 12:00 noon in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Pastor Walter Willis will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 16, 2014 from 6 - 7 pm at the funeral home.


Mrs. Harris was born March 23, 1941 in Hartwell, Georgia to the late Willie Bell and Ida Bell. She was a homemaker and a member of Free Chapel Worship Center. Clora was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Henry Harris, her brothers, Albert Bell and James Bell and her sister, Ida Mae Sewell.



Mrs. Harris is survived by her daughters, Tammy Harris of Gainesville, Sandy Harris of Winder and Laura Smith of Gainesville, daughter & son-in-law, Pamela & Tony Crowder of Decatur, 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, sisters, Allie Mae Bell of Gainesville, Louise Austin of Gainesville and Willie Lee Nesby of Decatur, sister & brother-in-law, Carrie & David Ivey of Gainesville, brother, Joseph Bell of Homer and brothers & sisters-in-law, Eddie & Ollie Rea Bell of Austell, Georgia and Dennis & Regina Bell of Alto.
