Mrs. Nellie Marie McClendon Fulenwider, age 98, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2014.
Graveside services are scheduled for 2:30 pm Thursday, May 15, 2014 at Memorial Park Cemetery. Dr. Bill Coates will officiate.
Mrs. Fulenwider was born November 17, 1915 in Pinson, Alabama, and the daughter of the late Julius McClendon and Hattie Self McClendon. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Julian Lowell "Pug" Fulenwider; and nine siblings.
Mrs. Fulenwider is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Lowell and Mardy Fulenwider; Dr. Tim and Pam Fulenwider both of Gainesville; grandchildren, Jay and Dawn Fulenwider, Lisa and Jim Martin of Alpharetta; Jill Dodelin; Carmen and Billy Watson, Dr. Cindy and John Greene all of Gainesville; Blake Fulenwider of Atlanta; 11 great-grandchildren; dear friend, Virginia Hall and a number of other family and friends also survive.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Dogwood Forest for their kindness and care.
