Cheryl Mullins Sullivan

Mrs. Cheryl Mullins Sullivan, age 66, of Dahlonega, GA passed away Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Emory University Hospital.

Cheryl was raised in Smyrna, GA and had spent the past 35 years in Dahlonega. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who had a great love for her family and many friends. She was an avid horse woman that enjoyed trips out west with her husband, Stan, and their horses after retiring from Bellsouth. She was a true cowgirl at heart. Cheryl attended Cowboy Church at various places and was of the Methodist Faith.

The daughter of the late Roy Lee and Evelyn Smith Mullins, Mrs. Sullivan was also preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Lee Mullins.

Cheryl is survived by her husband of 44 years, Stan Sullivan; son, Sean Sullivan; grandson, Lukas Sullivan; both of Cleveland, GA; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, David and Elizabeth Sullivan, Villa Rica, GA; special cousins, Regina Flowers, Beech Island, SC, Pete and Linda Herren, Powder Springs, GA, and Linda and Rodney Floyd, Acworth, GA. Many loving friends and a number of other relatives also survive.

A memorial service for Cheryl is scheduled for 4 PM Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega.

Rev. Lyman Caldwell will officiate.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 from 1 PM until time of service at 4 PM.
