Amber Ruth Sutton

Mrs. Amber Ruth Sutton, age 85, of Cumming, passed away on May 6, 2014. Ruth was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and cherished many friends, just too many to mention. She was a member of Montgomery Baptist Church in Gainesville.



Mrs. Sutton was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Dale Sutton, parents, Felton and Laura Looper, sister, Audrey Wright and grandson Abel M. Westray.



Survivors include her fiancé, David Fordham of Cumming and his daughters Melanie Fordham and Davina Rutland; son, Michael E. Westray and his fiancé, Teresa Foster of Ellijay; daughters and sons in law, Frances and Ronnie Mooney of Cumming, Wanda and Clyde Cook of Cumming; grandchildren, Matthew Mundy, Mark and Terri Mundy, Colter Westray, Lisa Cook, James Cook and his fiancé, Tiffany Cook, Delton Cook, Jeremy and Elizabeth Cook, Steve and Emilie Mooney, Stacy and Amanda Mooney; great grandchildren, Thomas Westray, Emma Mc Clung, Vada Mooney, Clara Mooney, Jordan Mooney, Kadence Cook, Alex and Alaina; sisters and brother in laws, Janie Cox, Barbara and Glenn Mullinax, Kathy and Herbert Sams, Warren and Eddie Looper and several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.



Funeral Service for Mrs. Sutton will be Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie McCormick officiating and special words by Ricky Hale. Entombment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens in the Mausoleum.



The family will receive friends Wednesday from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and Thursday, from 11:00 A.M. until the hour of service.



Flowers are accepted or donations can be made to Cancer Research in memory of our precious mother, Amber R. Sutton. The family wishes to thank her doctors, nurse practitioner and special medical staff for their time and care during her brave 3 year battle with cancer.
