J. Lanford "Lanny" Jordan, Jr., age 67 of Hoschton, GA died Tuesday, May 6, 2014 after a brief illness. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 11 AM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 7, 2014 from 7-9 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Jordan will be cremated following the service. Lanny is survived by his Wife, Mariana Jordan, Hoschton. Children, Jan Crosby and Husband Aaron, SC, Shayne McBride and Husband Todd, Athens, Michael Baird, CA, Leanna Bhatnagar, Hoschton, Dianna Baird, Hoschton, and Joanna Malcuit and Husband Charles, Flowery Branch. Grand Children, Jordan Crosby, Katharine Crosby, Jon-Eric Kyre, Jacob Malcuit, Madalyn Hetzel, Gunnar Hetzel, and Kaitlyn Hetzel. Brothers, Greg Jordan and Wife Mary, Stone Mountain and Daniel Jordan, Stone Mountain. Several Nieces and Nephews. Lanny was born in Stone Mountain, GA and was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He was employed most of his life as a commercial insurance salesman and most recently worked at Publix in Hoschton.
