February 14,1958, in Boston, MA. She was predeceased by her loving parents Gladys (Wilfong) and Francis Nee and also her brother Robert Nee. Debbie died in the arms of the love of her life and devoted husband, David Donohue. Her big brother, Paul Nee and his wife Charlanne of CA, her brother-in-law Daniel Donohue were also by her side in her passing. Her nephews, Peter and Mark Nee were among her last visitors.

In addition, Debbie's close friends Carol (Malcolm) White (CA) and John and Maureen Henry (MA) were with Debbie in her final days. She was also visited by her many friends from
Alpharetta, Cumming and the Lake Hartwell areas.

Debbie was raised in Dorchester, MA. She went on to UMASS Amherst/Springfield College where
she earned her degree in Adaptive PE. She worked as a lifeguard at the beaches in the Boston area and later at Swim Atlanta, and taught young children at Medlock Bridge and Longlake Associations. She cherished the title the children gave her of "Miss Debbie."

Debbie and David were very active in the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in Boston and Atlanta. It is difficult to sum up the life of this vibrant and loving woman. She leaves behind many fond memories of times shared at Lake Hartwell, countless Caribbean cruises, trips to California and most recently Panama City, FL. Her special passion was swimming with the dolphins, especially in Cozumel Mexico. Her love and compassion with her many dogs over the years was always reciprocated. Debbie's love of life and all that she could do will be an enduring memory for all that
loved her.

The family wishes to thank Debbie's many devoted doctors and nurses, the staff at Emory
Hospital in Atlanta, Children's Hospital in Boston, her respiratory therapists and those individuals who she had known during her years in the Atlanta and Boston areas that visited with Debbie and expressed their love and comfort in her final days. Also, her physical therapist Wanda Casey- Dicks who met with Debbie every day for the last decade.
