Sara Church Stuart

Funeral services for Sara Church Stuart, age 87, of Grambling, Louisiana will be held graveside on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 1:30 PM from the Fairfield Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday from 11:00 AM until 1:30 PM at the Hillside Memorial Chapel.

Mrs. Church died peacefully on April 25, 2014, at the Life Care Center in Ruston, Louisiana.

Born in Demorest, Georgia on March 31, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Church and Nancy Prince Church Corn. She was also preceded in death by her husband Tony Stuart, sister Edith Kelly, brother Timothy Church, and step father Sy Corn. Mrs. Stuart was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include daughter and son in law Sandy and Carl Vick of Dallas, Georgia, son Rex Stuart of Grambling, Louisiana, sister Nora Colston of Demorest, Georgia, and long time furry companion "Moon Pie".
