Joe Emerson Hope

Mr. Joe Emerson Hope, 81 of Gainesville died Friday morning May 2, 2014.

Joe is survived by his wife of 27 years, Joyce R. Garrett Hope; brother and sister-in-law, John and Carole Hope; sons, Mike Hope and wife, Audrey; Tommy Hope and wife, Trish; Jason Hope and wife, Vanessa; step daughter, Wanda Garrett; stepson, Stephen Garrett and wife, Cristie; two great grandchildren also survive, step granddaughter, Kellis Garrett Wiseman and husband, Aaron Wiseman, grandchildren, Kyle Hope and wife, Viriya; Zack Hope and wife, Stephanie, Trent Hope, Emily Hope Girvan.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday May 4, 2014 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. The Rev. Calvin Haney will officiate. Interment will be at the Bowden United Methodist Church Cemetery in Bowden, Ga on Monday May 5, 2014 at 1:00 p.m.

The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until the funeral hour.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked the memorial contributions be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church, 404 Washington Street, Gainesville, Ga. 30501 in memory of Mr. Hope.
