Samuel "Sam" Sloan

Samuel "Sam" Sloan, age 73, of Dacula, GA and the Hog Mountain Community passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Dollie Sloan. He is survived by his wife, Roberta Luther Sloan, Dacula, GA; children, Carrie Drosieko, Wheeling, WV, Michelle Hlebiczki, Weirton, WV and Sam Hlebiczki, Wheeling, WV; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Barbara Sloan, Dacula, GA; brother-in-law, Frank Luther, Loganville, GA; aunt, Mary L. Davis, Winder, GA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Sloan was born August 19, 1940 in Wheeling, WV. He was a 1958 graduate of Union High School in McMechen, WV. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. He was a salesman for Nash Chevrolet Co. in Lawrenceville, GA for eight years. He was a member of Hoschton First Baptist Church in Hoschton, GA.
