Timothy Allen Dotson

Timothy Allen Dotson, age 46 of Danielsville, passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2014 at Athens Regional Medical Center following a sudden illness.


Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Dwayne Dotson will officiate. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 from 6 - 8 pm at the funeral home.


Mr. Dotson was born March 16, 1968 in Demorest, Georgia to Allen N. Dotson and Ruth Free Reynolds. He was employed with Petco Distribution Center and was of the Baptist Faith. Timothy "Tim" was preceded in death by his father, Allen N. Dotson and his grandparents, Dillard & Agnes Free and Minnie Dotson.

Mr. Dotson is survived by his wife, Joanna Dotson of Danielsville, daughters, Brandy L. Dotson, Nikki Dotson and Cassidy Taylor Dotson, all of Commerce, step-daughter, Samantha Johnson of Danielsville, granddaughter, Lexi Johnson of Danielsville, mother, Ruth Free Reynolds of Commerce, step-father, Bob Reynolds of Commerce, his one sister & brother-in-law, Tracy & Stan Murphy of Gillsville, nephew, Cody Murphy of Gillsville and several aunts and uncles.
